From the music editor: Let me be your local music matchmaker
Scott - I'd like to take a quick stab at this one. Ha Ha Tonka (http://myspace.com/hahatonka). We're actually bringing them to The Green Elephant (5627 Dyer St.) on Wed. Sept 16th. Check out their tunes and you will definitely hear older Kings of Leon.

New Midlake album available for online purchase
just saw this pretty amazing quote on MTVe.com from Jason Lee (My Name is Earl and Almost Famous)about this album: "The Trials of Van Occupanther is now one of the most important modern records I own. In an age of overly-used irony and disconnected nonchalance, this record actually means something, and Midlake should be forever hailed for their unique and genuine approach to music."
i guess he got an advance copy! sounds like a must own
