What a show!!! Debra Carter and the RCT Company continue to prove how talented and phenominal they are. The combination of Laura Alley, Darin Fimple and Max Swarner to play the lead roles, shot this production straight to the top on what has been offered in the DFW area. If this was just a taste of what the 09-10 season has in store for us ,there won't be a seat left in the house. Congratulations RCT..... You just keep getting better and better!

John Garcia, I must openly and whole heartedly say, I am so gald to see a response from you. I am somewhat renowed to see that for the first time, maybe just maybe, you have heard what I am trying to say. YOU REPRESENT US ALL in DFW, the community as well as the actors and performers! and you are seen as an authority and subject matter expert in the arts and theater. The column does a great job of reviews and upcoming events and auditions as I mentioned before. There are forums I agree geared towards various different audiences and a time and place for everything. Rarely does vulgarity and sexual inuindo's meet the needs or interest of a production such as the video, which is seen by ALL. I am equally pleased and hope for those whom choose to stick with the Column that as you say "We are not perfect-nor EVER said we were. We learn each year when we we produce this event." that they can look forward to a much more professional and noteworth video production from your organization. On a side note, Silly me, I read you e-mail and thought that the (DF) in some manner referred to Dallas-Fort Worth. I have had several calls as to what that might be implying between the lines and I can assure you I am not an actor, performer, singer, writer or any such thing. I am a community citizen whom sits in the seats of many productions throughout the area and thinks very highly of them all!. Sorry if there may have been some confusion or misinterpritation. Absolutely not. And sorry for that impression. I simply am trying to learn my way around the DFW area. Not to blow smoke, but Peagasus seems to be a professional and quality organization, As far as awards go there seems to be a monolpoly held by JG and the column. Anything said here, I know for a fact has been expressed to them, and I am in hopes that they will take the ball and run with it. They already have the ground work, and do quite well on reviews and advertising upcoming auditions. Everything in my previous message that was sadly removed was factual and truthful, and the "general public" and theater supporting individuals should know, and be intrumental as a community in changing it or helping to change it. I applaud you for wanting to ensure the accuracy of information posted. I would be happy to cut and paste and email sent from JG himself to multiple individuals re: the "Actions he and the board were going to take". The public voted these people in, they need to know that they can be overridden at the drop of a hat, based on a personal vendetta. Please keep Peagasus the one and only forum in which we can speak honestly and inform those interested what is truthfully going on, Its the only way we will grow as a "Professional Community" And also thanks for being honest and not just removing without cooresponding, I mean no personal or individual harm TMM

Okay, SO here we go. LOL, Speaking of "paragrahs" etc. Could the 2 of you enlighted the rest of us as to what you are talking about? THus far, at least people on this forum are allowed to converse and share thoughts and ideas ( Pay attention JG, maybe you'll learn something... but doubtful! ) And what are the Scobe awards? Thanks for your indight and input. My sole intention of commenting is not to "slam" any particular organization or individual, but to encourage and desire the DFW actor/performer community to be viewed by all 12,000 subscribers as a mature, talented and professional group of individuals. Many live out of town and can't make it to the alleged "classy and elite" Gala awards so the only perception they have to go on is the Video that was produced and aired! These individuals strive to put on quality performances and productions to patrons of all walks of life, it is not, and should not be promoted or percieved as a "Big Girls Gay Club" and you are correct, no one should have to sift through 26,000 lines/words of this nature. If as you say the column is truely interested and a representation of all, both in the professional and patron community, I would certainly hope that the executive director and board become more in tune to how they are perceived by ALL whom subscribe, and also strive towards a more non biased, well rounded business methodology and board member representation. The Vulgar language and sexual undertones and inuindo's have no place in a "public" forum and should be resrticted. If they are what you say and claim, as much as they deal out constructive criticism, they should be able to take it, and take it seriously, after all we are the community and subscribers speaking.
