Take a trip to Greenville and Belt Line in Richardson, walk into any store and tell me the Asians have assimilated better than the Mexicans. You won't be able to read anything or have a conversation with anyone.

They couldn't "voir dire", because that would violate the resolution since it is Latin. They had to Bubba Up.
I assume all other latin phrases would violate the resolution also. ;-)

I saw Foghat many times in the 70's. They opened up for many bands until Slow Ride made it big. Lonesome Dave passed away in 2000 and he was the heart of the band. I hope the new guys do him justice. Rest in peace, Dave.

It would be difficult to patronize a business in Texas that does not use illegals; restaurants, landscaping, construction, cleaning services, hotels, retail ...
Take that away and prepare to pay higher prices for goods and services.
The Federal Government needs to work with the Mexican Government to come up with a solution that works for all. The current law in unenforceable and if businesses were fined/arrested for hiring illegals, the response and vote would be very different.
