    It is my understanding that the Corps of Engineers has very strict rules about people living along the lake not affecting the habitat. Such as they can't mow beyond their property on to the Corps land more than 50 feet. How can the Corps justify letting TXDOT and Collin County plow thru large areas of habitat like this? They appear to be hipocrites.

    I am new to Collin County and suffering from the H78 problems. Apparently Collin County has proven they are unable to focus or plan correctly on traffic engineering problems if they messed the H78 corridor this bad and now are wasting .3M to .5M of tax dollars on a bridge evaluation that is only 2 miles from an existing bridge. People are losing their jobs, trying to make ends meet, greed has ruined our economy, and now it appears the County Commissioners want to waste tax dollars too. We can't do anything about AIG, the fiasco of the federal government pushing loans to unqualified people, but we can do something about the commissioners and the engineering department.

    H78 is a nightmare. Commissioners please focus, focus, focus and spend money wisely and where it is needed!

    The commissioners need to come around or it will be time to get new blood. Sorry about the venting but this is extremely frustrating to see commissioners this far out of touch and I have to worry about having a job next week.

    Time for me to begin researching/watching the Collin County Commissioners.
