Perhaps this is just being used as a generic representation of a streetcar but the photo appears to be of a Toronto Canada car. They are being replaced with new ones within a couple of years. They also operate on non-standard wide gauge track. I doubt a new system would want that situation or used cars that old.

I am a big fan of streetcars and hope Dallas can continue to plan and complete their reintroduction.

A successful vintage streetcar line does operate in Dallas, the McKinney Avenue Transit Authority, which I have had the pleasure to ride.
