    I'm beginning to think that Dallas is just a lost cause. This will never be a great city. It will always just be a center for commerce. Money talks. Nobody walks. That's the way it is in Dallas.

    My vote for ugliest house wouldn't be on their shopping list: Worse than any rundown cottage in Preston Hollow or Lakewood (if there are any left) would be the monstrous faux Tudors, built to last a couple of decades at most, and overshadowing everything that surrounds them. They're a pox.
