In my opinion, there are enough family friendly activities in Dallas. Things like this are the reason why Dallas struggles with tourism. We should be trying to compete with cities like Chicago and Savannah, where people travel to just to play a part in St. Patty's Day. The parade is already in an area with several bars anyways, so why not play on that? I'm not saying it has to become like Mardi Gras or anything, but let it be a party at least!
