I really can't believe we saw the same show. We went to the Sunday evening performance, and, as other commenters have noted, came back after intermission to see that several couples left. It was not a good show. While the female leads were enjoyable, Constantine's acting performance was, from beginning to end, lacking. It got to the point where those around us started giggling whenever he took his hair fastener out, since that was really the only indication we had that Jeckyl was transforming in to Hyde. For the whole cast, Huge chunks of dialogue just disappeared either behind too loud music or through incomprehensibly bad accents. This needs a LOT of work before opening on Broadway, starting with, perhaps, a recasting of the male lead.
