Two questions: The game's in Arlington, so why is Tom Leppert part of the press conference? And since it's at JerryWorld, how did Jerry Jones not find his way into the mix?

James, he knew about the character, but Swank had to tell him Morita's name and history of the character (i.e. he was in all the films). Just strange for a moderator not to know simple stuff like that.

French filmmaker Agnes Varda has made a documentary that's both a chronicle of her life and an embodiment of her artistic style. Instead of just recounting the various events of her life, she challenges the viewer with surreal recreations, non sequitur asides, and imaginative set-ups for her various memories. Varda is a contemporary of such French filmmakers as Jean Luc Godard and Alain Resnais, which shows through her experimental nature.

Beaches, both in her native Belgium and in California (where she lived for some time), provide the inspiration for much of her art. The film is both whimsical and melancholy, and should engrossing for any film lover, regardless of whether or not you have ever heard of Varda. Keep an eye out for brief cameos from Harrison Ford and Robert De Niro, and more than a little nudity.

loser, I don't know for a fact, but I would say it's at least two months. We live near Allen, and one of my wife's friends witnessed Tracey's helicopter landing back in September (don't remember the exact date).

jerrislp, I agree to a point, but even Tracey admitted in an interview on Jay Leno last night (fast forward to 28:00 minute mark) that she was only there to look out for herself. Doing that can lead to a lot of hard feelings, especially on a show where contestants tend to support each other rather than go out on their own.

Okay, I'm generally on the pro-candy corn side, at least in small doses. But the trend of candy corn-flavored things has got to stop.

Some I'm okay with -- unfortunately, Candy Corn Pops have ceased to exist, but Hershey's still puts out Candy Corn Flavored Kisses, which are good even they don't really taste like candy corn.

But that's where I draw the line -- Jones Soda still puts out their Candy Corn Soda, which is just yellow dreck, and now there's the ultimate heresy, Candy Corn Dots. The review linked says it all, but why anyone would think that gum drops plus candy corn would be a good idea is beyond me.
