My husband and I just attended the play "The Nerd" at the Opera House. We definitely got a healthy dose of laughter from this performance! We continue to laugh as we recount various scenes of the play. Chris Trimboll was the ultimate "nerd" and played his part well! His facial expressions and physical stance alone were hilarious, and he did an excellent job with his high pitched nasal toned nerd voice too! Joseph Thomas played the part of Axel brilliantly. His clever delivery of his snide remarks added to the fun of the play. Alex Mitchel was impressive through out the play but his pig performance was hysterical! I still laugh thinking about this scene. I could go on and on...the play was done brilliantly and my husband and I both were astounded by the talent displayed. This was our first time to visit the Granbury Opera House, but it will not be our last! I don't normally write blogs but I just had to praise this performance and encourage others who may not have discovered the Granbury Opera House to go see this performance! I promise you, you will laugh until your sides ache and leave feeling lighthearted and happy! Who doesn't need that in this troubled economy!
